The Point Francis Cabin is located on pristine Gouldsboro Bay in Corea, Maine, known as "the calmest bay on the coast of Maine". The perfect base location from which to explore the quaint villages of Corea and Winter Harbor, and just minutes from the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park and the ferry to Bar Harbor.
Witness incredible sunrises from the porch! The cabin kitchen is equipped with a lobster pot and we can arrange to have lobsters delivered right to the beach.
Peaceful, quiet setting, with no neighbors on either side. A small sand beach available for your use is within just a one-minute walk away. Two kayaks are provided for use during your stay.
Hard to believe a spot like this still exists on the coast of Maine!
The Amenities
Our cabin is located in a truly rustic setting, without electricity or standard phone service (although cell phone reception is usually available.). The cabin is outfitted with a new propane cook stove and refrigerator/freezer, gas lights, composting toilet, two double beds and one sleeper sofa. Linens are supplied. A camp-style outdoor shower with heated water is available.
